We have developed an opportunity for a VOLUNTEER TRAINEE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR to work alongside and learn from Into Opera’s Artistic Director, Genevieve Raghu, who is staging A King’s Ransom. Applicants must be aged 16-25 and from Norfolk.

This is a unique chance to receive an insight into how a professional world premiere of an opera is prepared for, how to develop high quality workshops for children, to see how rehearsals are run, how artists collaborate, and to observe and assist during technical and dress rehearsals.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a passion for the arts and be looking to pursue a career in theatre, music, opera or arts education. This is a part-time opportunity developed for someone to gain hands on experience, in a professional theatre environment. A reference will also be provided for the volunteer at the end of the placement. To express an interest in this placement please send a CV and covering letter to Genevieve by 1st December 2017:
