Celebrate Christmas in Norwich with Into Opera and Britten Sinfonia in a magical evening full of festive music on Friday 15th December at St Andrew’s Hall.

 

 

Into Opera’s popular concert series Opera Unwrapped is back for a special Christmas celebration. This year, Into Opera is teaming up with none other than Britten Sinfonia to take over St Andrew’s Hall for the night, for a magical Christmas concert in Norwich.

Look forward to an atmospheric night at St Andrew’s Hall, for one of the final concerts in this historic venue before its major refurbishment commences in the new year. Expect to be immersed in laughter and sumptuous music as our singers share and ‘unwrap’ music for audiences, sharing stories which truly bring the art-form of opera to life. 

​

Once again, Into Opera bring some of the finest soloists working in opera to Norwich. This time soprano Alison Langer, tenor Monwabisi Lindi, mezzo-soprano Yvonne Howard and baritone James Cleverton. This extraordinary line-up of internationally acclaimed singers will perform a number of dazzling opera arias as well as excerpts from Puccini’s La bohème, Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel and Verdi’s La Traviata. This concert will also feature music from festive films including The Snowman and Meet me in St Louis along with a wide array of Christmas music and carols.
